Are Facial Implants right for you?
In our practice, there are three types of facial implants we commonly use:
1. Cheek Implants
2. Chin Implants
3. Tear trough implants
Won’t facial implants manke me look “plastic”?
A common concern is that facial implants make you look artifical or unnatural. The purpose of facial implants such as tear trough or cheek implants is to restore volume which diminishes with age although some people are candidates based on genetics. Chin implants improve projection of the chin so a “weak chin” can look stronger.
What material is used in facial implants?
The facial implants we use are made of medical grade silicone from Implantech. This implant material has been used for decades without medical or systemic issues. They are different from silicone breast implants.
What is the procedure like for facial implants?
These procedures are all performed under local anesthesia with LITE sedation. Generally these procedures take about 1 hour when performed alone.
Can I get the facial implants at the same time as my facelift surgery?
Yes, facial implant surgery can be combined with facelift surgery as well as other facial cosmetic surgerfy procedures.
