Just as Laparascopic surgery results in the same desired outcome but with smaller incisions, one can view the short scar facelift as an external improvement that still accomplishes the same goal. Confusion occurs when the short scar used for a proper facelift looks the same as the short scar used for a mini lift. The incisions can look the same but the work done under the incisions can be quite different.
