 A comprehensive facial rejuvenation is when you combine complementary procedures with the facelift. These would include eyelidlift, necklifts and browlifts. The upside of this procedure is that you only have anesthesia once and therefore less downtime overall and you will have more dramatic results in the long run. Multiple procedures are helpful when a patient has significant aging and wants to change the whole face to a brighter, more youthful appearance. Only certain patients are selected for multiple procedures. The factors used to determine whether a patient is eligible depend on the patient’s state of health and the time that he can afford for downtime. More than one procedure will require extra time to heal but not the same amount of time if you did them separately. That is, a facelift takes about a week of downtime and an eyelidlift takes about a week but if you have them together, the downtime is about 10 days.
