Dr. Amiya Prasad is highly respected for his artistry in facial cosmetic surgery. A graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, he has a unique combination of board certification with specialized focus and experience in the eyes and face. Known as a “Super Specialist”, he has been recognized as a premier Cosmetic Surgeon with specialty certification in Oculofacial Surgery (surgery of the eyelids and face). He is a Diplomate in Facial Cosmetic Surgery certified by The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Prasad has patients come from all over the world for his unique approach to facial enhancement.

Dr. Prasad received his training in Eye and Facial Cosmetic Surgery with top surgeons associated with the University of Texas in Houston and Galveston and the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Prasad is a Fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery/ Oculofacial Plastic Surgery and The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Prasad has been practicing in New York for more than 15 years. He has surgeons travel from all over the world to observe him performing surgery. He is sought as a speaker to teach colleagues at national and international meetings. He teaches future surgeons at several institutions including SUNY Downstate Medical School, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Winthrop University Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center. Dr. Prasad is the Chief of Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. He lectures and teaches colleagues regularly about Cosmetic Eyelid and Facial Surgery.
